Should children begin learning foreign languages in elementary school?

“Yes. The simple reason why is, you never know where you’ll end up. Here in the United States so many languages are spoken.”

“Yes, I think so. Studies have shown that the way the brain develops, they can learn foreign languages a lot better at an early age.”

“I work with people who speak Spanish and they get paid more because they are multilingual. We have a lot of cultures in our society, so I think yes, they should.”

“Yeah. I think it’s really essential to learn a foreign language right now. The earlier they learn it, the more fluent they will be.”
