Are adults stealing Halloween from children?

“I think if adults dress up and go get candy for themselves, they would be.”

“Yes, because some adults don’t let kids celebrate Halloween or trick-or-treat.”

“A little bit. They don’t let us go out as long as most teenagers want, so that’s how they sort of take it from us.”

“I think they enjoy it as much as kids do. But after watching this tonight, I think that’s great. The amount of kids down here, you don’t see that in Kansas City. It makes it feel like a small town.”
