“Understanding English. It’s hard to understand what professors say. It’s hard to listen and to take notes. I think it’s easy to make international friends.”

“We learned British English when we were in high school. When we came here we had to know American language. We had to learn slang and those types of things.”

“When native speakers speak really fast, I can’t catch the meaning. It’s hard for me.”

“English, reading and listening. Speaking is very hard.”
