Should protesters camping at South Park be allowed to stay despite a city ordinance forbidding it?
Asked at Massachusetts Street: on March 26, 2003
“Sure, I don’t have a problem with that. It’s better than being out bothering the businesses.”
“I assume that when you have people encamped you need certain water supply and sanitary facilities, and probably the park isn’t set up for that sort of thing.”
“They should because they’re just speaking their mind and saying their opinions.”
“I think if they could come to an agreement with the city they should be allowed to stay there.”
