What are you doing to prepare for war?
Asked at Hy-vee, 3504 Clinton Parkway: on March 19, 2003
“Nothing. It’s just going to happen, and there’s nothing you can really do to prepare for it. Just say a lot of prayers and hopefully it doesn’t happen.”
“I personally am not doing anything different than I have in the past. I just count on the people who make all the decisions to do the right thing and take care of business.”
“Pretty much nothing. Just trusting in our leaders. I hope there won’t be a war, first. But on the other hand, if Saddam doesn’t do what he’s supposed to do, I think we need to take him out.”
“I’m just trying to stay abreast of what’s happening. I’m very supportive of our government. We hired our officials for a reason, and I have to trust that they are acting in our best interests.”
