How important is it for the Lawrence school board to focus on lowering class size?

“It depends on whether you’re trying to achieve the goal of minimum class size or whether you’re trying to give them more things to do. You have to weigh one option against the other.”
“Low student numbers are important in a classroom, but having those classrooms in a larger school facility allows the administration to have more flexibility about moving teachers around.”
“I think that lowered class sizes are a good thing. Student-teacher ratios should be low.”
“In kindergarten through second grade, there should never be any more than 15. After that, increase by three or four up through the rest of elementary.”
