What should be the determining factor in who receives organs from transplant waiting lists?

“I think it should be young people because they’ll have a chance to live. I wouldn’t ask for one because I’m too old. I don’t think money should have anything to do with it.”
“I guess the severity of their disease or their need for the organ.”
“There isn’t just one. Age, need, underlying physical condition, general health, lifestyle, reason for organ transplant, quality of life after transplant — all those things are important.”
