Should criminals receive reduced sentences for helping police catch drug dealers?
Asked at Rudy's Pizzeria on February 13, 2003
“I think it’s OK in some situations, but it can be abused.”
“No. Why should they? They already committed a crime; they’ve been convicted. You’re just going to put them back on the street to commit more crimes.”
“No, it still doesn’t change the crime they committed. They should maybe get some privileges in prison, but that’s it.”
“No. It is that one person’s responsibility to be responsible for their own actions, and the authorities shouldn’t try to make it better for them.”
