How much do SAT scores reflect on intelligence?

“I think intelligence is if you can take what’s out there and distill it into your own take on things. To me, the SATs have no bearing on intelligence.”

“I think it probably reflects cultural conditioning as much as it does native intelligence.”

“Not very much at all. Some people are just better at taking tests than others. So I think standardized testing is not a true picture of what someone can do.”

“Very much. They tell you more about the person’s abilities for whatever they decide they want to do for a career.”
