Should the White House have given its support to Sen. Rick Santorum, despite his controversial comments about homosexuality?

“I would say no because he’s a senator and he should know what he can say and cannot say. He should have thought better about his words before he spoke them.”

“No, he shouldn’t. The White House legitimizes anyone’s opinion when they support them, and we as a country have a value system that they should uphold.”

“By definition the White House is our house. It’s the epitome of the nation. If that’s the case, then no.”

“It’s hypocritical for the Republican administration to pressure Trent Lott and not pressure Sen. Santorum.”
