Should Watkins Community Museum of History support an exhibit on the Underground Railroad?

“Yes, because it’s an important part of history, especially in this area. So, yeah, I think they should have a display on the Underground Railroad.”

“Yeah. I think it would be a really good learning exhibit. I think they should have more of those. It’s good history.”

“I think the board is designated to make that kind of decision. … There’s no reason for not doing the exhibit, obviously; they have to look at their budget and see whether they can afford it or not.”

“Of course they should, because this was one of the stopping places. But in order to get the private funding they’re going to have to get Steve Jansen back in the loop.”
