Should the state of Kansas end dividend income taxation?

“Dividends are double taxation on income. Corporations already pay income taxes on the money. Why should the people who receive that money have to pay taxes again?”

“The corporation’s getting taxed and then you get taxed, so I don’t think there should be a tax on that. I think taxes are being taken out twice, from both ends.”

“No. I think any income should be taxed, regardless of its source.”

“I would want it to be maintained. Especially in this period where both the state and federal government are having such a hard time with budgets, any kind of reducing taxes just makes that worse.”
