Should the Legislature be able to deny funds to universities based on disagreements over curriculum?

“That would be like Stalinism because the state decides what should be taught. The ideal situation would be where they give money and allow professionals to do their job.”

“I don’t think it’s right for the state to be able to do that because it’s not pornography in the entertaining sense but for educational purposes only.”

“They must think they have the power because they’re doing it. But if it’s in good taste, I don’t see any harm in teaching it.”
