What is the most important thing to keep intact in Lawrence public schools?

“I think teachers should be well-salaried, and enough money should be left in the budget to keep class sizes low.”

“Music programs. I have a son in band. It’s done a lot for him, and it gives him a group to belong to.”

“The arts. I think it’s a very valuable part of the children’s education and our society. If we don’t teach our children the arts, they’ll lose it in our society.”

“The counselors, because they teach us what to do and what not to do. They teach you not to do drugs. They talk to you when you have stress at home, and they won’t tell anyone.”
