How important is a college degree?

“I think it’s pretty much necessary. When I graduated from high school, I never even thought, ‘Oh, I’ll go get a job.’ That’s not planning for the future.”

“I think it’s pretty important, because with it you can go out and get a job. You need something to show for yourself. You need some proof.”

“For what? How important is it to the world’s greatest fry cook? How important is it to a fireman?”

“For a 22-year-old, it’s a perfect accomplishment. It doesn’t matter what it’s in. It’s one of the first things you do on your own.”
