Do you think the city should ban fireworks from Lawrence?

“It’s fun, but I don’t think enough people clean up after themselves, and there’s the air pollution, and then there’s the danger.”
“Maybe. The river got really dirty after the big fireworks show, but people have fun with them. Most people are responsible.”
“If they are used correctly, they are actually safe. People have been using them for thousands of years. I don’t see what banning them will do.”
“No. It’s only one week of the year. It’s not like you can light them off all the time.”
