Should there be a $2 billion budget increase for national border security?

“Bush is pandering to respond to America’s plea to do something but it’s not going to work. … We have to do something, but his views are simplistic.”
“It’s a good idea that they’re more aware of who is entering, but $2 billion is excessive. They should spend that money on education.”
“I don’t think $2 billion will stop terrorism. If that’s why they are doing it, it is pointless. If it really ends up helping our country, I think it is money well spent.”
“No, I don’t think so. Our country needs to focus more on building an international connection. We should try to make all people of all countries feel safe and secure.”
