What would be your pick for film of the year?
Asked at Lawrence Public Library on January 20, 2002
“‘Harry Potter was good. I liked the book, and it followed the book well.”
“I really thought ‘Little Nicky’ was funny. Either that or ‘Kate and Leopold.’ Those two were my favorites.”
“I was out of the country for eight months, so I haven’t seen many movies. I enjoyed ‘Harry Potter.’”
“‘A Beautiful Mind.’ The acting was wonderful, and the story was compelling. It was true, and it kept you going to the end.”
