What can be done about parking downtown?
Asked at Hy-Vee, 3504 Clinton Parkway on February 2, 2002
“It would be nice to have a big parking garage, but I don’t know where you’d put it. Part of the fun of going downtown is just parking and walking wherever you want to go.”
“I just really think they need to do something about it, because it’s a pain. I think it deters people from going downtown.”
“The parking garage is a good idea, but I just don’t think people know about it.”
“The parking is pretty bad. Maybe another parking garage, but it might lead to more commercialization.”
