How do you think the Lawrence Public Library could improve itself?
Asked at Lawrence post office, 645 Vt. on December 20, 2002
“I think they could update their technology. It’s great that they have computers downstairs, but their systems seem a little out of date. They could learn a lot from the KU libraries, especially the law library.”
“If it were possible for them to have budgeting programs to improve facilities, that would increase their ratings in the nation. I know that they are scrounging because the economy is really bad. Right now, for it to improve the economy is going to have to improve.”
“I don’t think a lot of people know it’s there. We don’t have a book mobile that I know of, and they don’t advertise.”
“Expanding its holdings, primarily in the children’s section.”
