Should school officials follow do-not-resuscitate orders for medically fragile students?

“If they had someone who knows what they are doing, I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t do it.”

“Yeah. I guess they should respect the students’ wishes.”

“I think they should obey the do-not-resuscitate. I think we should do what a parent thinks is right.”

“That’s a doctor’s thing to decide, not an individual’s. You can apply CPR until medical professionals get there, but no one’s going to sit there and let a kid die.”
