Would a commuter train from Kansas City to Lawrence benefit Lawrence residents?

“Yes, because I am a strong environmentalist. I would rather take an alternative vehicle. We would be spending less on roads, and it would be better for the environment.”
“Absolutely. I think it’s long overdue and would make sense for the whole Kansas Highway 10 corridor.”
“Yeah, I think it would. A train to Topeka would be better, I know more people who work in Topeka, but any rapid transit would be beneficial.”
