Is it more important for President Bush to focus on international terrorism or domestic economic issues?
Asked at the Lawrence Outdoor Aquatic Center on August 3, 2002
“Upon reviewing past accomplishments of Bush and Cheney when heading their own businesses, it is in his best interest to focus on terrorism.”
“International terrorism because Congress can work on domestic issues and have a better time dealing with them.”
“Domestic economic issues. I think the terrorism stuff is just such a big mess. Those people need to work it out on their own, no matter how much we get involved.”
“I wouldn’t say one is more important than the other. To just focus on one issue is not a politician’s job. ”
