Should the city help fund a summer shelter for the homeless?

“Yes, because I’m disabled and I know what it’s like to be down and out.”

“Yeah. I’ve volunteered for Jubilee Cafe and I think the city should help fund things like that not just during the summer, but for the whole year.”

“Yeah, and hopefully through something like the Salvation Army. I just think any city of our size and with the caring attitude we seem to have should do what we can to help those in need.”

“Oh yes, to get them out of the heat. I myself have collapsed from the heat, and I have an air conditioner at home. I think everyone needs a place with air conditioning to escape the heat.”
