Should state financial aid be increased when tuition is?

“Yeah, because if tuition costs more, you’re going to need more money to go to school. It’s a linear equation.”

“If it was, I think universities might increase tuition just to get the extra money because they know student aid will increase too, so it should be decided on a case-by-case basis.”

“No, because I think they get too much financial aid as it is.”

“Yes. I pay out-of-state tuition and my parents don’t help so I feel that every time tuition is increased, I have to take the run-around all over again.”
