Should Elian Gonzalez be sent home to Cuba?

Browse the archives

“What does he say? Does he want to go home? I haven’t heard anything about what he wants. They should ask him what he wants.”

“Yeah, I think so. He should definitely be with his father.”

“In most scenarios, I think the child should stay with the parents, so from that standpoint I think he should be with his dad, but communism changes the story and makes it a little more complicated.”

“I think he should. I don’t think it’s fair that his aunt and uncle kind of took him like that.”

Good man David Nelson!bringing back this golden-moldy OTS because Obama is appointing Clintonista retreads, including at least two implicated in the scandal of forcing Elian Gonzalez back to be brainwashed in Cuba! this is the "change" the 4% swing wanted? I doubt it! 3/4 of appointees are old clintonistas, many with dubious records. poor Elian is fourteen now. his mother wanted him to be free. apparently clintonistas don't understand the value of freedom! it is probably a mystery to them why people even want to escape from Cuba.

people have forgotten that this terrible scandal was a major reason GWB was elected in 2000, revulsion against those clintonistas. its Eric Holder nominated for U.S. Atty Gen who defended the violent seizure of Elian Gonzales. Greg Craig (sp?) was the Cuban father's lawyer FGS! and Obama nominated him too! change? yeah, riiiiiiiiight. we remember Elian Gonzalez.
