Obituary Notice Policy
Standard obituaries will be published in the Journal-World if the deceased or any survivors meet any of these qualifications:
The deceased is being buried in Lawrence, or has lived in or has immediate family survivors in any of the towns in the J-W circulation area. (See list, below)
“Immediate family” includes grandparents, parents, siblings and children. Relatives such as aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., do not qualify as immediate relatives.
