Loraine Lulu Neugebauer Morse 1925 - 2013 Lawrence
Funeral services for Loraine Lulu Neugebauer Morse, 87, Lawrence will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Silent City Cemetery in De Soto. She died on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
Loraine was born on September 22, 1925 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Karl and Wanda (Korthaus) Neugebauer.
She was a secretary for Emerson Electric in St. Louis, MO until she retired in 1971.
She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence.
Loraine married Kenneth Kruse on August 24, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death February 21, 1962. She later married Hobart Morse in 1967. He preceded her in death January 1984.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen L. Fredrickson, and her husband, David, Lawrence; one grandson, Karl Kruse, Wichita; two granddaughters, Jennifer Smith, Gardner and Rachel Fredrickson, Denver, CO; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Alfred L. Neugebauer, and wife, Verna, Belton, MO. She was preceded in death by her son, Karl K. Kruse in 1973 and one brother, Karl Neugebauer.
The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Home in Belton, MO and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
