Robert Marshall Keith 1927 - 2006 Topeka
Services for Robert M. "Bob" Keith, 79, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. July 1 at First Congregational Church in Topeka. A gathering will follow at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka.Dr. Keith died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at his home.He was born March 23, 1927, in Ardmore, Okla., the son of Robert E. and Cora Dyer Keith. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma and Yale Medical School. His residency was in Oregon.Dr. Keith served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946. He practiced psychiatry at the VA hospital in Topeka and later in private practice in Manhattan. He also was an artist whose work has been exhibited at the Mulvane Art Museum, Topeka Public Library and in the homes of friends and family.His wife, Nancy, died earlier.Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Adler, Malibu, Calif., and Jill Keith, Topeka; a son, Ted Keith, Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Robert Keith and Mia Burcham.Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home in Topeka is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.kevinbrennanfamily.com">www.kevinbrennanfamily.com</a>.
