David Beust 1959 - 2005
Services for David Beust, 46, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kan.Mr. Beust died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at his home.He was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Independence, Mo., the son of Harry and Alberta Beust. He graduated in 1977 from Manhattan High School, where he received several cross country and track awards. He attended Kansas State University, Phoenix City University and the School of the Ozarks in Hollister, Mo.Mr. Beust was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America in Manhattan and received the Order of the Arrow award.Survivors include his parents, Admire; and a sister, Mary Wiley, rural Emporia.The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the mortuary before the services.The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, sent in care of the mortuary.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warrenmcelwain.com">info@warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Beust.
