Stephen Jerome Leonard 1955 - 2006 Lawrence
Private graveside services for Stephen Jerome Leonard, 51, Lawrence, were Sept. 28 in Pioneer Cemetery in Lawrence.Mr. Leonard died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, in Lawrence. He was born Feb. 1, 1955, in Lawrence, the son of A. Byron and Alice E. Leonard. He graduated from Lawrence High School. He graduated from Kansas University, where he majored in psychology and was Phi Beta Kappa. He also received a Master of Science in computer science from Kansas University. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence.Mr. Leonard worked as a systems analyst for a number of government contractors in Topeka and Kansas City.Survivors include his mother and two brothers, Byron, Oak Park, Ill., and David Yunuba, Djibouti.The family suggests memorials to NAMI, Donor Services, P.O. Box 630577, Baltimore, MD 21263.
