A member of U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran’s staff will be available to constituents during an open office event Friday in Eudora.

The event will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Eudora Recreation Center Community Room, 1630 Elm St.

During that time, staff will be available to area residents experiencing difficulties with Social Security, Medicare, veterans’ affairs or other matters involving federal issues, according to a press release from the senator’s office. No appointment is required.

Moran is a Republican who was first elected to the Senate in 2010.
