City cleans up in Sunflower League awards

Lawrence High senior guard Anthony Bonner and Free State sophomore Madison Piper were named the Sunflower League’s players of the year on Sunday, and LHS boys basketball coach Mike Lewis was selected as the Coach of the Year after leading the Lions to an undefeated 11-0 record in league play.
