Lawrence High’s top girls relay runners — Jensen Edwards, Leah Gabler, Marissa Pope, Kyleigh Severa and Myah Yoder — broke school records in two events last year. They weren’t going to pass up a chance for a third at the Sunflower League Championships on Friday at LHS.

Michael Sinks went 4-for-4 with two triples and three stolen bases, and Lawrence High’s baseball team defeated Olathe East, 10-7, on Tuesday in a game suspended because of rain last Thursday.
