Veritas Christian fell to Kansas City East, 52-46, in high school football Tuesday night at Veritas’ field. Seth Hale gained 209 yards on 18 carries for Veritas (0-6). Michael Rask threw for 170 yards and ran for 77.

Lawrence High’s volleyball team went 0-3 on Tuesday at the Manhattan quadrangular. LHS fell to Manhattan, 25-16, 25-5, Topeka Hayden, 25-18, 25-14, and Washburn Rural, 25-20, 25-15.

Eudora cruises past Spring Hill

Three Eudora players rushed for at least 100 yards, and the Cardinals defeated Spring Hill, 32-14, on Friday night in high school football. Seth Griffith ran for 213 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries, Austin Downing ran for 120 yards and two TDs on nine carries, and Chris Rivers ran for 100 yards on seven carries.
