2 pet dogs killed in Douglas County; sheriff’s office asking for public’s help in investigation

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the killing of two dogs, Odin and MJ, in southeastern Douglas County, the sheriff's office announced Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding the person responsible for killing two pet dogs in southeastern Douglas County.

The family pets, Odin and MJ, were killed this week, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office did not share additional details about the incident, including how the dogs died, but said “we’re trying to figure out exactly what happened and why.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 785-841-0007. Anonymous calls can be made to Crime Stoppers at 785-843-TIPS (8477).
