Updated 2:28 p.m. - Time after time, for decades, a Lawrence man - an educator and a Boy Scout volunteer - was accused of sexually assaulting boys. But little was done to prevent him from abusing in the future. A Journal-World investigation reveals how the pattern of abuse was allowed to continue, and the role of the now-infamous Boy Scouts perversion files in Kansas.

- Surveillance video from a Dec. 13 robbery at Cheers Liquor, 1414 West 6th Street. The video, from the Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru window, shows the suspect crossing Sixth Street before he covered his face and approached the liquor store to the west. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective MT Brown at 785-830-7449 or call the CrimeStoppers Hotline at 843-TIPS(8477).
