Second candidate for dean of engineering visits KU

Arvin Agah, the interim dean at the University of Kansas School of Engineering, made his presentation to campus Thursday, as a candidate for the dean of engineering position.

He is the second of three finalists scheduled to present. On Nov. 9, JoAnn Browning, dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio, presented.

The third candidate will be identified Nov. 27. That candidate will present on Nov. 30, according to KU’s office of the provost.

The position opened up after Michael Branicky stepped down as dean in June.
