City to hold annual Holiday Extravaganza with 200 vendors

The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s annual holiday gift and art fair will take place this weekend.

The Holiday Extravaganza will include 200 vendors selling both commercial and noncommercial artwork and items produced by local and regional artists, according a news release from the city. The fair spans several basketball courts within Sports Pavilion Lawrence, and a variety of items will be available, including pottery, photography, holiday decorations, desserts and jewelry.

The Holiday Extravaganza will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the pavilion, 100 Rock Chalk Lane.
