Baker softball bounced from NAIA tournament after 2-0 loss to Corban

The Baker softball team was eliminated from the NAIA tournament after a 2-0 loss to Corban in the Bowling Green opening round bracket on Tuesday.

Olivia Brees only allowed two runs on two hits over seven innings. The NAIA’s strikeout leader fanned six while only allowing one walk.

The Wildcats had a runner in scoring position in five different innings.

Baker finished the season with a record of 41-16 to break the school record for wins in a season.
