LHS girls soccer tops Topeka High, 3-2, for third straight win

The Lawrence High girls soccer team closed out the regular season with its third straight victory after defeating Topeka High, 3-2, on Friday at LHS.

I’waya Brewer got the Lions on the board by drilling home a penalty kick. Grace Odrowski put LHS up 2-1, and the Lions’ final goal was an own goal that was assisted by Mikayla Downs.

The three wins in the span of five days pushed the Lions’ record to 4-9-3 going into regionals.
