Despite a complete game outing from pitcher Devin Lauts, Lawrence High baseball couldn’t hold off Gardner Edgerton in a 3-2 loss Tuesday at LHS in the team’s Sunflower League opener.

Lauts, who struck out six in seven innings, scored a run in the fourth inning. The Lions (0-3) will travel to Olathe West at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
