Lawrence High’s baseball team was limited to one hit against Kickapoo (Mo.) on Thursday and suffered a 10-0 loss in its season opener at Willard High.

Senior Austin Quick delivered the only hit for the Lions, hitting a single in the top of the fourth inning, while Andrew Stewart drew two walks. The Lions (0-1) will face Lee’s Summit (Mo.) West at 3 p.m. Friday at Willard.
