Letter to the editor: Where am I?
To the editor:
After living almost 40 years in Chicago, I moved back to my home state Kansas and settled in Lawrence. After nine months living here I’m flummoxed with “mishaps” involving finances in the city of Lawrence and my property taxes “may” be going up.
Hello? Did I really leave Chicago and the state of Illinois? Don’t make me believe Lawrence is as woefully stupid as Chicago.
