The Watkins Museum of History will hold an open house Sunday afternoon to unveil new displays on the museum’s large third-floor windows, according to a news release.

The new panels on the windows will feature full-color images that tell stories from Douglas County’s history, the release said. In addition, students from Bishop Seabury Academy and St. John Catholic School will showcase their National History Day research projects at the event.

The event, scheduled for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, is free, and refreshments will be provided.
