Lawrence man charged with distributing child pornography
KANSAS CITY, KAN. – A Lawrence man was indicted Wednesday on charges of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister said.
The man, Brian Fuchs, 48, is charged with one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. The indictment alleges that Fuchs used a peer-to-peer network to share child pornography with other users.
If convicted, at least five years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on the distribution charge and up to 10 years and a fine up to $250,000 on the possession charge.
