Free State’s wrestling team had three individual champions at the Paola Invitational on Friday and took third place in the team standings at Paola.

Senior Isaiah Jacobs won all three of his matches at 132 pounds, senior Tate Steele went 3-0 at 138 pounds and Elijah Jacobs was crowned champion at 145 pounds after winning four matches. Elijah Denmark took second place at 195 pounds.

Eudora High’s wrestling team placed seventh in the 15-school tournament. Cael Lynch was champion at 126 pounds and Elijah Kennedy was runner-up at 160.
