Vann, LHS girls win O-South bowling quad

Waiting more than an extra week for the start of the season after two weather postponements, Lawrence High’s girls bowling team took first place at the Olathe South quadrangular Wednesday at Olathe Lanes East.

Lawrence senior Diamonique Vann earned an individual title in her season debut, bowling a 540 series. Holly Evans rolled a 483 and Emilie Rodman finished with a 474.

Jayden Cress led the LHS boys bowling team to second place with a 586 series. Hunter Krom followed with a 559 and Isaac Cox rolled a 541.
