With potential inclement weather entering Lawrence on Thursday, several athletic events were postponed.

The Free State and Lawrence High bowling teams will have to wait one more day to start their seasons. The girls’ portion of the two-day Free State Invitational was rescheduled for Jan. 19. The boys will bowl at 8 a.m. Friday at Royal Crest Lanes.

Free State’s boys swimming meet at Indoor Aquatic Center was postponed, along with sub-varsity basketball games. No make-up date was announced for the varsity swim meet.

Bishop Seabury’s boys and girls basketball games against Topeka Heritage were postponed without a makeup date announced.
