Playing in their third game this week, Veritas Christian’s boys basketball players opened a 25-point lead at halftime in an eventual 72-36 victory over St. John’s Military Academy in Salina.

Tucker Flory led the Eagles with 19 points, while Quinton Donohoe (11 points), Trey Huslig (16) and Grant Schuck (11) joined him in double figures.

Veritas (7-3) will face the Metro Mavs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Perry-Lecompton High.
